The Audi Q7 was first introduced in January, 2006 at Los Angeles Auto Show.

It is a full-sized luxury crossover sport utility vehicle manufactured by German car maker, Audi.

The letter Q in the name indicates a new family of cars for Audi and the numeric 7 denotes it place between Audi A6 and A8 models.

The Audi Q7 is designed and built on the platform of PL71 from Volkswagen Group. It is mainly produced for on-road purpose and in the off-road tests it scored average results.
