So I see this little thing that maps out the states you have been so. So I am like cool. So I open the thing up and go to work, but as I start ticking off states that I have met I come to a question that tests my moral being: do I count the states I drove through/had plane connections through? Because when we went from Colorado to North Carolina there were quite a few states that we drove through but we didn't really stop and see anything (we had two cats with us and that isn't really conducive to seeing the sites) and when I fly back to Colorado from North Carolina there is usually a connection in another state and maybe a layover. Although some of my layovers were just pit stops to pick people up and we never even got off the plane, like the time we made a stop in Tennessee and all I saw of the state was the tarmac and the outside of the airport. So does that count as having been to that state? If so, here is the map filled in if I count the road trip / plane stops:

visited 17 states (34%)
Create your own visited map of The United Statesand if we don't count the road trips and plane stops:

visited 9 states (18%)
Create your own visited map of The United StatesI don't even count Delaware and I have been through that state 6 times going to and from New Jersey to Maryland. But what about Virginia? I mean I have spend HOURS and HOURS (it is about 3 hours we spend in Virginia going to Maryland from North Carolina) in Virgina. So does that count? But that means all the other states counted too because I spent quite a few hours in them too. :\ fml
I am crazy. I know it, you know it and the map just proves it. wtf
And since we are on the subject of states - here is a list of states I really want to visit: Alaska, Hawaii and Maine. And of course live in Seattle Washington one day. ^_^
