forgot to get the backless buttons so I had to pull all of them off
I didn't position the fabric right on these two and it started to come apart
I also kind of figured out how to get the picture I wanted on the button:
except it still came out like to the side and crap. Oh well. Also I ended up buying tack nail heads that you would used to ad a decorative feature on furniture - so it is a little too big for the buttons. I also picked up some magnets, but my buttons are too small for them so I have to get bigger ones.

So I thought I would try my hand at making one:

my stitches are not consistent and I can't seem to cut a straight line to save my life.
I also made potato soup
it came out ok. I think I added way too much milk and cream. It was just a touch too watery. And I blended it to long. I think next time I am just going to mash it in the pot and add half a cup of cream and half a cup of milk and go from there.
Next on the list to make is bacon mac and cheese. Very excited to try it.
Oh yeah and I also saw this tutorial on how to make a gift bag.
It came out ok, except for the corner. Plus the other ones I made were not the same size. Like I said I am not very consistent. To put a positive spin on that: each bag I made was unique in its own way. Haha.
